Oliver's Labels is a multi-faceted commercial printer that specializes in label and decal products. They make fun, durable name labels, tags, wall decals, and more for all demographics. The company has broadened its services over the recent years by taking on the canvas wall art industry, and now wishes to introduce and include personalized iPhone MagSafe® cases as a part of their repertoire, in accordance with their partnership with Gelaskins.

I was tasked with repurposing old and creating new designs for this project, as well as establishing the mockup templates with the various iPhone models. Maintaining the integrity of old designs when repurposing their graphics was key, alongside ensuring the new designs’ overall look matched the aesthetic and quality of what was provided. One challenge with this project was organically including a blank space where the user’s personalization would appear. That is also where the most creative liberties were taken, as the text could be skewed, arched, or distorted to best match the visual identity of the design. Ensuring the user’s personalization was still legible after these effects was of the utmost importance.
